• Application or Use: Pasture, Cattle Grazing, Livestock Forage, Erosion Control
• Germination Time: 7 - 14 days, under optimal conditions.  Allow 3-4 weeks for the unstratified seed to break dormancy and germinate, under optimal conditions.
• Growing Locations: Warm Season, Transition Zone, Cool Season
• Height: 1- 3 feet
• Sunlight Requirements: 8+ hours, full sun for best results
• Advantages: Prefers well-drained to sandy loam soils; combines well with other varieties.
• When to Plant: Recommended planting time is spring and summer when night time temperatures are consistently 65+ degrees.

Product Information

The small oat-like seeds develop on the side of the stalk. It is a warm-season grass growing 12-40 in. tall, and grows well on mountainous plateaus, rocky slopes, and sandy plains.
